My day was good.
No, I lie. First part was crappy I had a maths test, failed for suuure.
Oh well! Then I had art.

My friend, Stephanie and I are getting in the habit of ditching school on friday afternoons and seeing movies... woops. We saw My Sister's Keeper today, it was good and yes, I caught my little friend crying. I have to admit I shed a few tears. :'(

Oh, and I'm thinking of getting a haircut... Not too sure though. I want a longish bob cut.

Rescue Me.

Everything. Fucking. Sucks. I need change. A change of everything. I need to just walk forever and never stop. That sounds good about now, apart from it's pouring outside. Why was I so happy yesterday?
I had no reason to be.

I even went to the trouble to write something, and that only happens at times like these.

Everyone should know how much I love taking photos of my cats. I caught Fanta in the act of destroying my wardrobe and I had my trusty camera handy. As always.

I've been neglecting this blog for a few days.
I was helping out with my friends party and it was pretty damn successful. :)
It was awesome fun and I had a fantastic night.
Oh, and I got to take lots of pictures, some of which I really really like.



Blogger won't let me upload more. :'( I may put more on soon though.
I attempted my first Bokeh last night... I think I went okay, but I need to practice more.

Argh, school really soon. :( I have an okay day though, english, german, biology and photography. Should be pretty good.

Things about me.
I thought I'd do an 'About Me' post. So here you go. :)

1. I hate dentists and orthodontists, oh and spiders plus the fear of having your nails ripped off... Sorry guys, I know it's disturbing.
   
2. Today, I learnt that you should wear your orthodontic plate regularly to avoid extreme pain.
3. If I had a super power it would be to be able to knit and read at the same time... It's really hard... I tried once.
4. I like assessing other peoples work...
5. I rarely let anyone do something for me.
   
6. I absolutely LOOOOVE english accents!
7. I love words like grim, tis, twas, unfortunate, unsightly... and so on.
8. When people call you 'love', 'Sorry, love.' AHH! It makes my heart melt.
9. My taste in music is.... um? Well, I like it. I listen to everything from the darkest metal to indie.
10. I think I like the idea of doing art for the rest of my life more than I like art... Maybe not, but oh well.
11. I like looking at art too much.
    
12. My pay dissolves in my wallet. I swear! I don't spend it that quickly.
13. I avoid all sport, I play volleyball, which is barely a sport really.
14. Fitness and I are sworn enemies.
15. That is the same with maths. Can't do it for the life of me!
16. I like photos! Mmmm, photos.
17. I cannot resist japanese toys or anything cute. Maybe that's wear my pay is wasted.
18. I seem to go into the city every weekend.
19. Everyone thinks I will become a cat lady. Yeah, I agree...
20. I like science and art. Opposites. :S
21. I wish I was old already so I could sit at home with my cats and knit all day.
    
22. I cannot wink. I tap my nose as a substitute.

24. I wear stocking 24/7 in winter (nearly), even when I sleep.

26. I used to have a shoes obsession and buy a new pair once a week, I've stopped. Thank god.
27. I say 'Gosh' waaaaay too much lately.
    
28. I buy loads of badges, but rarely use any. I need an awesome jacket.
29. I live on next to no sleep.
30. I have completely pale skin, which everyone blames on me not eating red meat... But I was this pale when I ate meat. :S

Call It Karma.

Hi everyone!
Crappy day today, but oh well! German and maths could ruin everyones day.
"If you don't understand it, learn it!"- My maths teacher.
I then proceeded to have a go at her and ask her why she was teaching if she wasn't able to explain things properly.
It was exciting, but I can see an E on the horizon...

And I actually did homework for the first time this term! 5 pages of Biology and some photography.

Now, I've been looking for an amazing silver ring. You cannot imagine how hard it is to find one that is just perfect!
Jewellers will not do, I've found one, but it wasn't too great. There's a shop in Degraves street, but they are soooo expensive and the lady there was a complete bitch!

I think this is the perfect ring. The design and the look. It's... WOW!
They look a bit odd, but need to be seen in real life, and you can barely feel them when you have them on. I want one, thanks. :D

A quick blog before work. (:

Today, I woke up too early to go into the city.
Did I mention how much I love design markets?
They're so much fun! And it's way too easy to blow all your cash.
I bought a ring, a trailer loads of badges, Able and Game cards!
I spoke to her, she's so sweet. I've been meaning to buy her cards forever and I finally got some. :)
I'm set for the next few weekends of birthday parties.

I think I'm too happy sometimes... Oh, I also bought this badge I've been wanting for a while now.
It says, "Hello, Do you like stuff?" I'm thinking about wearing it to work. I could get fired, but oh well! I know the boss.

I went to DFO, because I had too much time to burn and I spotted myself a few bargains that I am suuuuper happy with! 2 dresses for $30 and I needed them too.
(I've been saying 'suuuper' a lot lately. In real life too! I sound gay, but I blame a book I read. Sorry guys.)

I did all of this stuff by myself, because everyone else was busy. I think I like hanging out with myself sometimes. Although, I probably do look a little silly.
And this market bought me one step closer to finding the perfect silver ring!

Smile In Your Sleep.

I slept until 6pm today. What a waste! Anyway, I forgot to say Steph and I ditched last period on Friday to go and watch Harry Potter.
AHHH! It was so funny! I don't really like Harry Potter, I'm not a liver or anything.
But isn't Ron sexy? ;D

Oh, the spider scene freaked me out, but how funny are the hand movements? He looks so cuuute! That's my favourite part of the movie, I can't say scene, because I could have cried.

Doing subject selection last year, I wanted 3d art, but I got 2d art instead. I tried changing, a lot. In the end I couldn't and got stuck with it. Three lessons into the class and I've realised why I avoided 2d art for all these year... I suck at drawing and it makes me feel bad! How pathetic, but still, I can never get my drawings just right and I definitely cannot draw people.
I can do cartoon ghosts and monsters? But where is that going to get me in life? Haha.

Oh, and I bought this months NYLON magazine today. I found these cute shoes that I want sooo badly. :)
Aren't they amazing!? GAHH! I want them! Too bad they only post to the US... :'(
I need a friend over there to mail them back to me! Life sucks sometimes. Reasons like these make me hate Australia even more. :P

Come As You Are.

Arghh! Today I woke up doubled over in pain. I had a feeling the previous days fitness testing would come back to haunt me. My body must be telling me it's a bad idea to do no sport and eat lots of fooooood. Haa.. So, I decide to sit here and write a blog while eating a packet of lollies.
I should really not be allowed into the lolly isle of the supermarket.

First period was double art! I have a feeling I'm going to love this day on my timetable... At least the morning because the rest of the day is packed with Maths, German and English.

Oh, I've been suuuper tired lately and I swear it's all the reading I'm doing.
This week I've read:
Too Small for Basketball. which has a funny/interesting blurb.
"I keep waiting for everyone going about their daliy business to just stop dead and say a collective, 'Who are we kidding?' and start having sex there and then."

Noami and Ely's No Kiss List. Written by some of my favourite authors! The same ones that wrote Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist... Ahhhmazing book! I swear, I will marry Nick...
The movie isn't too flash though. Michael Cera it's who I would've picked to play Nick, he seems way too shy. But that's another story.

Now tonight, I think I'm going to finish The Kurt Cobain biography I was meant to have finished at the beginning of the year and also I will start reading 'The Push', which I borrowed today.

Memories That Fade Like Photographs.

I got some images developed that I took on my 'new' vintage camera...
It's all manual, so I had nooo idea what I was doing. After these were taken was when I decided to actually download the manual for it and learn how to use it.. kinda.
They're super grainy and crap, but oh well!
There's a triple exposure in the mix too, these are the better ones from the bunch.

I finished that book, 'The Opposite of Love'. It was really good, reminded me of myself a bit... haha.

Last night, I decided to start reading another book. Damn my love of pathetic teenage fiction!
So, I read 'Just in Case' by Meg Rossoff.
It's not the best book, but I couldn't put it down, well I could of, but I didn't.
I finished the whole thing and it only took me about 3 hours. I really like the vintage kinda girl in it and of course that it was based in England.

Ahh, also School began today... It. Was. Hell. Nearly. Could've been worse.
I have to do P.E now. :| Physical activity and myself tend to avoid each other at the best of times. Tomorrow I have fitness testing! I have no fitness to test... There just is none.

Oh, and screw you Mr. Sport teacher, I'm not telling you my weight.
"Just get over it and write it down, it doesn't matter. Everyone has to do it."
Fuck you, I don't care too much, but seriously I tell no one my weight, why would I tell some strange man!? No happening, buddy. I don't think we're close enough to be sharing that type of information...
I'm use to writing either N/A, 1kg or 100 kg down. Today I tried to write down 40 kg.
I can see him being like, 'Taiga, can we talk about your weight?' Excuse me, but do I look anorexia? No way in hell.
Maybe it would be a confidence booster if he said that, We shall never know.

Well, there's my hate of sport and such.
I can't believe it's nearly Wednesday. :) Thank you, lord!

Mark Ryden! Oh, it's looooove.

I thought it was about time I confessed my love for Mark Ryden.
I've loveddddd his art so much since I saw a girl get it tattooed on Miami Ink.
So, I figured I would share some of his art, some of my favourites at least.

He's amazing and I seriously want to own one of his paintings. He makes me wish I lived in Japan, so I could see his exhibitions. At least it would be lovely if someone bought me 'The Tree Show' book from The Metropolis! $95, thanks. :) It would be lovely and I've been wanting it for ages!

All winter, I have been wearing stockings 24/7. Okay, most of winter at least. This morning I doscovered that I have a slight rash on my leg. *cries* My stockings hate me....

Wake Up Call.

Phone calls. My friends seem to always call to chat while I'm trying to sleep!
During my exam time, I had a day off and decided to sleep in. But nooo, 8am phone call which went on for an hour and a half... It was hell.

And just this morning, okay maybe it was at 1pm and I should've been awake, but anywhoooo. I got a phone call from my lovely friend who is holidaying in Queensland to chat. I. Was. Trying. To. Waste. My. Day. Gosh.
Going to bed at 4am doesn't help that either, silly me.

Also, I was convinced it was a Sunday today. How silly!
Well, nowwww it's Sunday, 12:09am and all.



Oh, My lovely mother and I decided to go to Spotlight after work. We blow $60 on wool... But it was worth it! Now I have a pretty scarf and mum just finished knitting her own one too. :)

Painting Flowers White Never Suited My Palette.

People keep insulting my pale skin! Well, I say SCREW YOU! I quite like being pale!
I don't have the need to be tanned or orange! I'm all natural and even paler than the people in England. Oh and isn't it better that I'm pale than tanned? I don't bake myself in the sun and all?
And I'll openly say that I don't exactly find being tanned attractive. And orange doesn't mean tan, sorry girls. It means trashy! :O
